We’ve made it past Blue Monday now we’re just drawing breath after the Christmas rush. It was particularly busy this year and we were pleased to welcome a whole new group of customers who needed extra cold storage space this Christmas.

We have a number of farm shops that hire refrigerated trailers from us every year and this year we had a couple of new ones. Farm shops need the extra storage refrigerated trailers to store all their turkeys and other meats at Christmas as well as all the delicious cheeses and other goodies they sell.

A brand new restaurant was opening up in Cardiff to make the most of the extra trade at Christmas. They were let down by the contractor who did not manage to get the cold storage completed for opening day. Same day delivery of a mobile cold storage unit saved the day and the restaurant was able to open as planned.

Maintenance of plant and equipment carries on irrespective of the season and we were able to help two large venues who wanted to hire refrigerated containers to cover their needs whilst they refurbished their in-house refrigeration during December.

We even had a night club manager that wanted short term hire of a refrigerated trailer for keeping their champagne cold. Now that’s my kind of venue!
